Founded in 1993 by Bill and Julia Hohman, our family-owned business is a testament to the power of tradition and love. Julia, who immigrated from Chile in 1971, grew up making empanadas with her mother, brother and sister. We are proud to be the first restaurant specializing in empanadas in Washington, DC.
